Introduction
NEE Controls Ltd now offer a range of AMC Manual Handpads, each one designed to provide the
operator with the level of remote control needed for his particular application. The Beluga Manual
Handpad has been produced to allow fine positioning of an axis to be achieved remotely from the
controller. Thus allowing the operator to get close to the tool and still have fine positional control.
The functionality available on the standard NEE handpad is limited to: -
- an Axis Selection dial
- a Digitise switch
- a Fast/Slow jog mode selection switch
- a Run/Next and Stop switch
- a Handwheel
The handpad takes its power
supply from the controller with a power LED indicating whether the device is active.

magnet/hook combination is securely attached with three screws to the back of the handpad and hinges
neatly away into the unit maintaining the ease of handling and good tactile feel of the handpad.
Note It is possible to add additional functionality to the handpad for specific applications.
