WinAMC® machine control software. To make it even easier to understand WinAMC uses pictures to
represent controller functions.
Everyone is familiar with hardware buttons, switches, dials and
slider controls. WinAMC uses virtual images of these controls to perform the functions.
A new graphics trace feature shows the job progress by plotting out the shape as the machine is running
with zoom to tool view and other features. Additionally a command trace feature allows the program
lines to be monitored as they scroll up the text area. A library of images show the on and off
status of many functions.
Plasma torches, laser guns, liquid dispense nozzles, tangential knives,
cutters, drills and milling cutters, and many more. The library also includes pictures for machine status
and functions, feed-rate, spindle speed, jog keys, and also the operation status for coolant, extraction,
guard lock etc. Users own pictures (bitmaps) can also be used.
The user creating the panels can
now have colourful, easy to read, easy to use panels which will be appreciated by all who use them.
Conventional machine information and operations are of course available, for example axes readouts,
text area for monitoring machine progress, feed rate and spindle feed rate with override feature, jog
keys and manual data input, MDI, for single moves required when toolsetting and setting up.
